I think it makes sense to have a niche when you are doing YouTube because it would be hard to grow an audience if one day you are talking about minimalism, the next you are advertising fast fashion, the next you are talking about stocks and investing.

However, when it comes to Medium, I feel that niches are completely overrated. I couldn't write about productivity and writing the whole goddamn time. I need to be nicheless so I don't bore myself to death with my own writing.

Each article also stands for itself so why should you limit yourself to write about 1 or 2 topics only?
