Hey Amy, sorry to hear the person dumped you after you tried to communicate openly about how you felt. Tbh, I don't think either one of these two was the case.

My assumption is that she had a different understanding of love. You know...movies and social media paint a very clear (although unrealistic) picture of what real love looks like or what it feels like when you meet "the one". My guess is that she thought "When I meet the one, we will always be in harmony. We will love everything about each other. We won't disagree on a single thing.". Since you brought up some topics, she might have thought to herself... "well, Amy can't be the one then".

It could also have been the case that she wasn't willing to work on herself to resolve the issues you two were having. But these are just my speculations. Take them with a grain of salt :)
